How I work now

I don't write code by hand anymore. I direct the loop in English (specs, constraints, reviews) and own the verification system that catches wrong: tests, staging, stronger-model review, rollback. One person shipping like a small team. In a way it's the Scrum Master job I once did, with a team that never sleeps. The receipts are on /projects; the reasoning is in the essays.

Experience

  1. 2026 →

    Backtomeaning · solo builder

AI-first tools: LoomBrain (agent memory), sandcaster (agent sandboxes), a revenue Chrome product with publicly Stripe-verified numbers. Everything built by directing AI in English. I own the orchestration and the verification, not the keystrokes.

  2. 2022–26

    Access Protocol · founding engineer

Founding week to sabbatical on a Solana content protocol. Led the web platform (Go/TypeScript), the design system + shared-package monorepo, the CMS layer, public monetization widgets/SDKs; built the realtime infra solo. Drove the AI-agents pivot hands-on: conversational agent, retrieval (RAG) backend, MCP server in March 2025, before MCP was mainstream.

  3. 2021–25

    Amenti Studio · founder

Built and shipped The Book of Aaru, an action roguelite, on Steam (86% positive) with a team of 5–8 over five years. Wound the studio down deliberately; wrote the post-mortem.

  4. 2017–21

    Learnlife · Head of Technology

EdTech in Barcelona; learning systems for a different model of school.

  5. 2010–18

    Foundum · CTO

Eight years leading engineering for a startup-stakeholder platform.

  6. 2005–10

    Early career

Co-founded skvely.cz, a web agency, in my last years of university; left after two years. Rails early adopter in Czechia (2005). Ticketsolve, XING Barcelona (two stints as Scrum Master and Agile coach), Visrez, Red Hat. Agile the hard way; .NET-to-Rails migrations; six months at big-co taught me I need small and high-agency.

Looking for

Senior engineering or engineering-leadership roles, or contract work, with teams building for the agent era who want someone who has already restructured how they build around AI, not someone about to start. The fastest way to find out: [email protected].
